Training and innovation: the ViDiMa programme on artificial intelligence

Innovation in production processes relies on technology, organisation and skills. With this in mind, a number of members of ViDiMa’s production department, together with senior management, took part in a training course organised by Il Sole 24 Ore, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications within a business context. The initiative stems from the realisation that AI represents a significant transformation for the industrial world, with tangible impacts on operational models, work organisation and data management.

A practical approach to AI

The programme, which ran over several months, included several hours of practical training and was structured into modules focusing on the main areas of AI applied to business. The training activities, led by industry professionals and experts, explored aspects such as the use of tools in business processes, interaction with language models, data analysis and opportunities for automation. The aim was not only to understand how AI works, but also to acquire useful tools for assessing its application in real-world production contexts.
